No. No. No. Nonononnonono. Absolutely not. It would not be a Godzilla movie without gratuitous monster shots. Maybe in the first half they can do that. But I would not forgive them if the whole movie contained very few Big G shots.

This is a monster movie. Not a suspense thriller.

Godzilla. NOT Cloverfield. NOT Super 8. Those movies were terrible.

Maybe the first half of the movie leave Godzilla as ominous and shadowed, but in the last half of the movie, let's get big scaly out in the open with some amazing "swat down helicopters and planes" shots!

I agree, it's not a Godzilla movie if we don't get to see Godzilla! However I like how they're keeping him under wraps. Imagine how awesome (but probably impossible) it would be if we didn't get to see all of Godzilla until the movie is out, and he has an awesome debut shot during the film?

If this has got one thing,it's visuals.It looks amazing.I also don't mind it being centered around humans more so then Godzilla.The first movie barely had any Godzilla in it,more so people dealing with the destruction and chaos he brings.I can see why they took this route,but it seems he'll be ripping up quite a few things too.

All in all,I can't wait for it.

I would not mind that at all! Though what's more likely is Godzilla will get most of the spotlight, and the other monster(s) won't be revealed until the movie.

It would be pretty neat if it was vice versa though. Shots of the other kaiju in the trailers and no full shots of Godzilla until the movie.
