I'd say Kouta is kinda like Eiji and Gentaro. And what Wizard should have been according to his first appearance in the Fourze movie (he was sooo different from the show, it's crazy). He's the easygoing, nice guy with a somewhat innocent happiness.

I think when it comes to his sense of justice, he also has something in common with Shotaro. The last episode proved that (it's kinda spoiler-ific, so I'm not gonna talk about it in detail), when he tried to save the woman from the Inves no matter what.
