Ultraman recommendations

From the oldies 80 was fun.
From the 90s Dyna.
From the 21st century Mebius.

I have a couple episodes of the original Ultraman on DVD and have found it to be extremely enjoyable. Why not just start there?

People are put off by the program's age and format or at least assume they will be.

I've been told Mebius and Nexus are good places to start, though I haven't seen either yet.

Starting with Nexus would be like starting Kamen Rider with Hibiki. It's a good show, but really not representative of the franchise.
