Actually he took the Blood Orange lock from the AU. That was supposed to be the mainline Gaim world in the film and everybody got sent to the Bujin Rider World. The Bujin world was supposed to be the AU. Micchy was the last person seen holding the Blood Orange when he left that world. So it's entirely possible that factors in here. I'm not saying it does, but there's a good argument for why it would.
