Well that was a dang good episode. Sad to see it all end, but it had a good end far as I think.

I think this may have been one of the most pointless episodes of anything I have ever seen. Even the tacked on Wizard episodes felt more natural than this. Was the whole point to have an episode to redeem Mitchy after 40+ episodes of building him up to be a traitorous douchebag rivaling even Kaixa? The character moments between Takatora and the others seemed nice, but the rest of the episode was the worst. Bleargh. Awful. I think it was a less than weak ending to a series I thoroughly enjoyed otherwise.
Although I want that inflatable red ressha they showed during the commercials, though. |

not totally sure how to feel since I couldn't understand anything they were saying.
Not thrilled with Jam but I didn't expect much out of a one episode evil rider. |

Overall a great ending to an amazing series, can't wait for the subs and also can't wait to see how well Drive can do following Gaim.

I guess it's time to leave the Gaim once and for all..
I have to say the final battle felt satisfying..maybe even more so than Baron vs Gaim..that was high-action and this was more to bring things together.. I liked that it followed through on Urobutcher's message abt Micchy to bring it to a full end. Tho' tossing around Kurokage Trooper #37 made his henshin a bit pointless. I wish they had finally made him a bit more competent to give him some poignancy. The best part of the ep was to see all the characters share and interact especially Akira and Takatora..the last bit with Baron helped make it feel like feature film ending This was the first Kamen Rider I followed weekly in full( without skipping eps) and I have to say it was fully worth it. I'm sure we all rushed in with the draw of Urobutcher and he's revitalized the series making each episode amp up the tone at relatively breakneck pace. It's not perfect but it's one of the best neo-heisei series and managed to always keep our interest unlike some which tend to trip up especially home stretch. Bravo, Gaim and may the fruit be with you. PS- I'm sure I'll do a retrospective post again after subs but I did'nt want this moment pass without saying anything.. |

Kougane is an artificial lifeform created by Roshuo's people who took the form of a human (according to movie description). It has the potential to become the next apple owner.
There is no further description on what exactly it else it can do. Last edited by DrillBIT; 09-27-2014 at 06:49 PM.. |

I LOVED this episode. My favorite moment was surely when Micchi came to help Jonouchi. "It's true that Kouta is a hero. But he is gone and now we have to be the heroes!" Now that's what I call making an entrance.
Also, awww for Jonouchi becoming Kurokage! |

DONT SAY NO JUST LIVE MORE
The final tag team of Gaim and Ryugen was as satisfying as Kiva and Dark Kiva teaming up. Truly an awesome ending. I am glad that they finally let Jonouchi have another moment of growth as he does not blame others for Hase's death but blames himself and then even if the chances are super low he faces evil with all he's got. thumbs up for Jonouchi. And it was satisfying to finish the show off with a DOUBLE RIDER KIIIIICCCCKKKKK!!!!

Amazing finale is all I can say.
A fantastic epilogue with great character interaction (Takatora and Akira!) and Kougane returning as Jam was an okay attempt to tie in the movie that surprisingly was probably better than creating a completely new villain. Jonouchi finally got an awesome moment and Mitchi also got fantastic scenes this episode. Final battle with Gaim and Ryugen vs Jam was freakin excellent. And Double Rider kick! Glad Kaito got one last scene as well. Fantastic ending and fantastic series overall. |

I thought this was an amazing finale. Granted, I think last week's episode would have been a more powerful ending, this one tied up the remaining loose ends. Jonouchi finally discovering that Hase is dead and his determination then to honor him by wearing the Kurokage trooper armor to fight Jam.
And the biggest moment of all ... Micchy arriving to fight Jam, and then doing his classic henshin pose with Kouta in the background. So is Micchy redeemed? No, but he's definitely on the track to do doing so. I think he was shocked at the concern he received when everyone went rushing up to him at the end. Micchy was the hero in the end.
