That's one of the things I've come to understand and realize about a lot of Horror movies these days. Nobody sees it coming. Not even the people standing there talking to the person about to die. Nobody see the killer, or death object, coming up behind the victim. Only time this shit happns is in the Zombie genre. And that's only because people are actively aware of their surrounding. But even then there's that one zombie that comes from around the corner unexpectedly and take a chunk out of so-n-so's arm.
