Best toku outside of Rider, Sentai, Ultra, Metal Heroes?

I forgot about Garo lol. I'm gonna go ahead and add that to the list as well, since it seems to be everybody's answer and I already knew about it.

Well, with Garo and Garo-related byproducts out of the way, I have to give my vote to Daimajin Kanon. It seems to have largely slipped under most people's radar, but I love the show to bits. It's basically the spiritual successor to Kamen Rider Hibiki and tells a really moving and engaging story.

Well I'm looking for a replacement for GARO since I caught up with all the seasons. That sounds interesting.

Shift, I got beat to the punch. Rescue Fire was, IMO, one of the best Toku series out there. t helps that its subbed on youtube too.

Not to forget the songs were what made it good as well(JAM Project~ Yay~).
Especially that scene in the opening clip where it transitions from R1 to Fire 1, still looks cool.

If you want to be super retro then there is Gekko Kamen (Moonlight Mask). Japan's first TV Toku hero.
