[Phantom Stranger]

I'm still hoping for monsters. The series as a whole could have a great variety in the team, zords, and MOTW. By extension, Urban Legends and Mythology could be incorporated.

Mismatched themes. I (And probably many others) had a funny little idea of a team of heroes whose themes are wildly different from each others. Like an animal guardian themed hero, a military themed hero, a technology themed character, etc etc.

It gives for a good chance of variety

They tried something similar with the mecha in Ninninger and I can't say I've heard a single positive comment about how mismatched they are. It might be more interesting with the suits though, but I feel like they'd need at least something to tie them together.

I dunno if that would work. It would be weird / complicated to create a mythology around a full season of the show with totally disparate themes. I'd be shocked if something like that would happen.

And I guess what I'd really like to see is something supernatural. Maybe like Magiranger, but less about benign spells and something that feels more like witchcraft. Maybe mecha or weapons based on the Sephirot or tarot major Arcana? Maybe I've been playing too much Persona, heh.

Obviously. But the mismatched mecha didn't go over well at all, I don't think they're going to base an entire team on mismatched themes.

It would be interesting though, to say the least. I wonder how it would be handled.

Anyway didn't Zyuranger/Abaranger/Kyoryuger already do prehistoric beasts? If you want to get technical they haven't done "Ice Age" beasts yet, but still.

A mismatch one would be cool if they brought warriors from different cultures together ex: One Samurai/Ninja, One cowboy, One knight, One shaolin/monk, One gunsman like a modern day BFJ.
