You can call the 3 triangles BS all you want (I strongly disagree as especially with Otoya's 2, I found them to be actually indicative of his character development from womanizing jackass who sees women as challenges to win to actually seeing Maya as more than some prize or challenge and actually had a connection with her) but they had more of a place with the atmosphere.

The Kota/Micchy/Mai one in Gaim also gave us the wonderful image of Mai bitchslapping Micchy (Micchslapping?) so can't complain there either.

Otoya and Nago's I'll agree with you on Wateru's was god awful though.

As long as it's natural I'm good with it. Sometimes it's not really needed though. Kiva did it well. I'm kind of upset they didn't do anything with Eiji and Hina in OOO because they kind of was working on it and didn't follow through. Drive had a great natural pairing with Kiriko and Shinnosuke. Pretty much either do it or not just don't think about doing it and not follow through.

Really? I never felt they were working on anything with the two. The actors don't even have any romantical chemistry together.
