He updated his blog, saying that he is "fine" (as far as the circumstances go) and apologized for making everyone worry. He also thanked everyone for loving Blade and caring about him so much (he got many messages wishing him well) and that he would "heal while watching Ex-Aid".

Still, not only is did he get injured seriously, but the incident might leave some physical scars as well, which might make his job harder as facial scars are kinda frowned upon in the industry. :/

That doesn't make sense. Traffic dispute means he told a cop to go f himself for pulling him over.

Road rage is a thing. People getting super angry about getting cut off in traffic. People getting out of cars with guns super pissed occours once in awhile, at least in America. Granted, it was between a motorcyclist and a pedestrian on this case, but I don't know the circumstances.

Thank god he's alright. Facial scars suck, but I believe he'll continue acting just fine with them. Hopefully any rumored Blade project doesn't get cancelled/delayed significantly because of this.

It's human nature; people tend to react violently about things they feel are important. The attacker is scum; I do agree with everyone on that and while facing scarring will take time to adjust too I'm sure Takayuki will be fine.
