What's evidence do you have it exist? I don't see any report of something similar to Kidult culture in the US or Japan. I'm not sure if you heard but Toys R Us has already closed, and will cease to exist.

Toys R Us has a presence in Japan (161 stores in Japan, so I have to assume they're going to close). Also I apologize for not understanding your post. Do you have evidence that Japan has a Kidult culture like South Korea, because I'm not sure if that exist. If it did, I would've known about it.

South Korean 'kidults' aren't shy about ordering the Happy Meal South Korean ‘Kidults’ Obsess Over Kids’ Toys Korean ‘Kidult’ Phenomenon – Adults Embracing Their Inner Child Is a Trending Business Famous Japanese ‘Kidult’ Toy Stores to Open in Korea Line between Korean kids and adults blurs Also it doesn't help that K-pop idols are also making Kidult culture in South Korea look normalized: I don't see anything like this in Japan where Kidult culture is normalized and mainstream. |
