Plan To Buy Thread

Before going hand held I had wanted to get Ninja Gaiden for PS3 and fill in Metal Gear Solid first. PlayStation 3 had gotten Phantom Pain which is the final game (For now).

I might get the 3DS next in February.

I don't feel like listing the entirety of my pre-orders because in my mind I already bought all of that stuff, it just isn't here yet, so for what I'm actually planning to buy this year:

- A Geartlinger. SHF Zenkaizer happening and me getting caught up on Zenkaiger gave me the final push to acquire a bit of Zenkaiger merch, I have a fairly nice piece coming up soon that will join the collection, but I want to have a Geartlinger as well. It's such a fun piece that also displays well. Now, Memorial Editions are a thing with Super Sentai so before getting a DX-one I will wait and see what that one's all about. If it's the DX-mold with new voice lines and fancy paint or something I will pass and get said DX-version instead, but should it be upsized to show-prop status I will want the Memorial one.

- Soul of Chogokin MFS-3 Kiryu. Assuming it goes up for pre-order this year. Godzilla ignited my love for Tokusatsu when I was a child, S.H. MonsterArts Kiryu was my first Tamashii Nations figure, and it should be obvious where that got me. I'm delighted to know they're making a big boy metal version of my favorite Mechagodzilla design, I want to have it with every fiber of my being.

- S.H. Figuarts Dukemon Special Color Version. Digimon was also an integral part of my childhood, sadly most figure coverage from Tamashii regarding Digimon happened before I started collecting, so the current trend of them "remastering" their past released figures with new paintjobs and cloth capes is a delight to me. I have Alphamon ordered, should arrive sometime soon, and I want Dukemon to join it in my display. I was also happy that the small NXEDGE-Style versions of their full sized counterparts were given a similar treatment, because I need those as well to complete a display I have in mind.

There's more, much more, on the horizon, many things I don't even know exist yet, but my mind is currently focused on these three.

So, purchase plans for the year? I'll probably be collecting a lot of Transformers Legacy, and probably a few video games. As far as Toku stuff, I'll get the classic Kamen Rider Manga, try to catch up with at least the main riders from Figure Rise Standard, and buy whatever Shodo KR Ex-Aid stuff gets released. Maybe some Gundams too.
