Yeah!
Let's turn every season into an anniversary season like Decade and Zi-O! :V Let's stop making regular seasons altogether! :V From now on, let's just make crossover seasons! :V Let's fill every Kamen Rider season with random crossover episodes that break the main story! :V Let's turn every season into a nonsensical, crappy mashup like KR Outsiders! :V Fuck plot! Fuck good writing! Fuck quality! Fuck logic, rationality, and common sense! Fuck meaning! :V All I want to see on the screen is a chaotic, jumbled mess of episodes to satiate my 10-second attention span! :V Long live Kamen Rider! See you all in 2071. :V ![]() - Train children - Footbal - Kikaider the Reboot |

The dude basically sells the Legend Rider Cards for them, and they love promoting Legend Merch in their toylines. Which is why he's gotten priority over other Riders when it comes to retail releases. |

I don't necessarily mind a Mary Sue if they're the protagonist, like Tendo or Tsukasa, where the story focuses on them and gives me reason to care. According to Minato the producer, Kaguya is supposed to function as a "cultural exchange" for Houtarou. That premise is fine, but it confounds me why Toei are giving special treatment to this tacky golden poser, instead of paying attention to Majade and Valvarad who actually deserve it. They could've done something simple like Shinobi and Quiz in Zi-O.

Well, canon generally relies on linear causality, which doesn't apply to Tsukasa and Ryoutarou, both for different reasons. Tsukasa's perception of canon is whatever world he's passing through at the time, where he gains new abilities as required of his role in that world. Ryoutarou's perception of canon is every timeline he's ever lived in, as being a singularity point means he remembers everything anyway.
Houtarou vaguely remembering the events of the Legend special reminds me of how Tsukasa's photos always come out blurry, which is the irony that Tsukasa's hobby also happens to be the only thing that he admits he sucks at doing. Houtarou doesn't belong to that world, so his memory of it is like those photos. We can also see that Shinji, a regular human, at least has short-term memory of non-canon experience, which is enough to punch Odin. If Houtarou's memories of Kaguya's world is blurry due to him not belong there, then Kaguya's (and Butler's and also Hundred's members') memories of Houtarou's world should be blurry too due to them not belong here. But then, it would mean that Hundred's members should not remember about Kaguya's world either. Regarding Shinji's memories that enabled him to punch KR Odin in episode 28, there was nothing non-canon about it. Ryuki's story always hinted at the possibility of multiple iteration of the Rider War made possible by Kanzaki's use of the Time Vent card. The story even hinted at the glitches in the fabric of reality caused by Kanzaki's abuse of the Time Vent card. The events in the series, film, and special were all canon because time travel (or rather, time reversal) and the resulting glitches were implicit internal rules in Ryuki's story. No one debated about the canonicity of those unseen events. So, TLDR: Unseen events =/= Non-canon. And vice versa: Seen events =/= Canon. Quote:
![]() As far as I know, the first mention of the term "aurora curtain" in official materials was in the synopsis for KR Zi-O's 45th episode on TV Asahi's website. Although I'm not sure whether it was an official acknowledgement or merely quoting the fandom, since it was mentioned not in dialogues but only in synopsis. That was the only mention of it during the whole KR Zi-O series, long after Tsukasa's debut in the series. The entry on KR Zukan was probably based on that synopsis. Thanks. I didn't even realize that I'd reached 200 posts, haha. Quote:
Yep. Money speaks louder than words, or in this case, the story. |

It's like what I stated:
A term initially popularized by Japanese fans, and then unofficially picked up by one of the members of the production team who wrote the synopsis for Zi-O's 45th episode, and then that synopsis was referenced to by the authors of KR Zukan (which, if I remember correctly, was launched during Zi-O's mid-season). Yes, Decade's OP did use the word "aurora", but I think it was only used as a metaphor by the lyricist (Shoko Fujibayashi), not as an actual name for the interdimensional portal. Although, it might also be one of several factors that contributed to the popularization of the term "aurora curtain" by Japanese fans. |

I want to say that I really appreciate defeating Eternal in the same way as 14 years ago, thanks to the people supporting the main rider.

When the nostalgia hits so hard you have to roll the end credits 10 minutes before the actual action completes.....
I mean, I don't not like it but at least have the merch available to go along with the feels. Complete Selection isn't available for every Rider yet. Also, I call this the Pepperidge Farms version of KR. Because y'all remember when the suits weren't a ton of stuff stacked on? Yeah, that was the good stuff. Rider Kick mobility for everyone! Last thought, for Decade-smashburgering an episode of KR meta concepts together, this legit felt less confusing than actual Decade or Zi-O. Showa 4 Life.

The beginning of the story introduces the Door of Darkness, which brings out an Abyssail King named Gigist, and Atropos also revered him. The rest of the story involves attacks by a group called the Hundred warned by Kaguya's butler, who looks identical to Kajiki, which involves references to previous Kamen Riders.
The Hundred Four, the remaining 3 Saigetsu, Mimei, and Tasogare all henshin into previous Riders; Dark Kiva, Glare, and Eternal. The scenes involving these characters resemble those of the previous Riders, such as Glare being fought in a place where Girori was fired, and Eternal having people cheering for the primary Rider (Koichi Sakamoto directed this episode so...). Kaguya also appears in the story, and his Rider power allows him to embody the abilities of previous Riders. So, from what I see, he's just another Decade or Zi-O (and he has flamboyant and cocky demeanor like the former). Additionally, Saigetsu also pulls Narutaki's onore. Quote:
Fortunately, the important characters do get some attention for most of the episode. Fire Gotchard AntWrestler finally makes his debut. ValvaLachesis uses Repli Madwheel to fight alongside ValvaRider, which I guess we can call the ValvaraDuo. Clotho Regis shows off her strength. I enjoyed watching those cool fight scenes and there's barely enough interactions scattered throughout to remind about recent developments. But I sure hope this show doesn't just become Kamen Rider Legend featuring Gotchard for the remainder of this arc.
