Wow, angry much?
![]() Let's just suspend disbelief a little bit, nothing wrong with having kids be companions. It actually makes the dynamic more interesting, in my opinion.

It only really annoys me because Clara started off really interesting way back when she was a Dalek, this continued until the last couple of episodes where she has had nothing to do other than to stand there and be oggled by the Doctor.
Then that last scene, in an episode that rendered her largely useless, also painted her as an utter moron and it's just frustrating. |

So, thoughts- best episode of this half of the series, possibly of the whole series! Strax, Jenny and Vastra are awesome, with Strax being hilarious. The Thomas Thomas joke was a bit forced but it was the only down side. Also, for anyone wondering why 'we'll tell our Dad' is a valid threat, this is the Whoniverse. The Earth has been constantly invaded and transported through time, and people are probably a lot more believing and wary of this. Plus, Clara may not want the Doctor's secret to get out. Also, Galvatron is the BOSS! Saturdays episode looks great, and with Neil Gaiman, well... lets just say that The Doctor's Wife is my favourite episode ever and leave it at that.

Apologies for the essay, I'm supposed to be writing one on the roles of gender in Science fiction novels but this seemed more fun and once I started I just went on =p
I like Clara... okay no, I just like looking at Miss Coleman. Ugh.. okay, I did like Clara in her first couple of appearances. She was clever, funny and challenged the doctor (whilst also being a challenge for the doctor, eg. what she is/how she exists) Since her true introduction though she's slowly faded into the background, might have a decent line every now and then but that's about it. The focus on her book in the first few episodes made it feel like she was going to be this awesome explorer or something with some dreams and ambition, but thats all been dropped and she seems to have an identity crisis with each new writer. Just my two cents... Latest episode was strange. I was really enjoying it , oddly enough, until the Doctor showed up. I think him being out of the game a bit longer would have helped, the bizarre old timey flashback/re-telling of the last 20 minutes but with the Doctor and Clara was, well bizarre and incredibly off putting. Mr Sweet was just ridiculous although I do think Diana Rigg still managed to play a fabulously batty villain that was just pure evil. The ending seemed a little forced/out of the blue. I just hope Clara questions the existence of victorian london her.. doubtful but we'll see. So I currently can't decide if I liked it or not... Lastly, I've probably not watched enough 'Who' but the 'this series will focus on this plot, but only for the first and last episodes with brief mentions in between' type of progression/arc is getting annoying. I know it'll probably get explained eventually, but everything else just feels like complete filler. |

Going through my guide over the next two weeks I came across the episode of the Doctor Who after Nightmare in Silver. And it has a very interesting Title and Description..
The Name of the Doctor. The Doctor's Greatest Secret Revealed! Could this finally be It? After fifty years, after eleven Doctors, could we finally find out his name? And could it please not be something lame like Max? Please Mister Moffat? I don't know if this is a Red Herring, and we'll never actually hear his name, or if they'll actually say what it is... But I'm excited! |

There are some things that should never be revealed. This is one of them.

I highly doubt it will be revealed. It would probably end up like the whole series 6 story arc, revealed to be some plot twist.

To be honest I'm dreading the finale. It looks to encompass just about everything I hate about the Moffat era.
