In what way does it look dated? It has better CG than nearly any other sentai I've ever seen for sure.

Well, yeah, for 1993 it's pretty decent. Not really fair to compare it to modern shows, though.

No... 2012 was Go-Busters. Akibaranger aired in 93, between Zyuranger and Kakuranger. I'm not really sure how you can confuse the two.
