Also I haven't played much Layton, but I'm really under the impression that he should've been a detective instead given how more hands on he is than Scotland Yard. |

It's kind of weird that Layton exisits in the same world as Phoenix Wright though, I've always been under the impression that Layton was set in the past or something…but that's probablty because of how retro in terms of atmopshere the game looks.

Especially given how the spin off game Layton brothers uses 80's esque technology.

That's what threw me off because i saw the Eternal Diva movie and that had some steampunk elements in it though I'm not sure if that movie is considered part of Layton cannon.

Okay, i just beat Professor Layton vs Ace attorney.
Man, oh man. That was an epic conclusion to the story. I got the plot twist spoiled somewhat months ago, but it was still a surprise. I loved every moment of it. And then there's this image. I want this to sink in, the people at Level 5 created Professor Layton because they were inspired by the Phoenix Wright games. They're huge fans of the AA series basically. Seeing this image must make them proud, to see they're creation shaking hands with the character that inspired the series, they must be so proud that they're series got popular enough to be part of the same universe.

Well, at least they kept how delightfully punny Phoenix Wright names can be.
It took me a second to realize that Carmine's Accidenti name is literally car accident. I did like the first case, as I don't think Phoenix Wright had a lot of cases that didn't involve some kind of murder or person being killed. |

Man, Tomb Raider is a great game. I don't know why I've passed on it for so long.
