Well, apparently there is going to be a promotional campaign of some sort (looks like it's related to Ganbarizing) that features a Proto-Taddle Quest Gashat. Also, I guess the greyed-out version on the select screen could relate to this, but I doubt it.

Hey does anyone know what a good price is for a gamer driver or gashhat with shipping is? I'm looking at some from ebay shops and want to know how much the price is inflated.

Keep an eye out on sites like hobbylink, hobbysearch or amiami? Stuff gets regularly restocked and these have the best prices for stuff. Ebay is just scalper hell so I tend not to touch it for new things.

Also oh man this month is insane, I have everything bunched together and too much. A couple of gashats, the bugvisor and the gashacon sparrow and woooo it's expensive. I might need to take a break from collecting DX stuff for a few months. I genuinely don't remember a DX line hitting my wallet this bad so early on.
