Aside from my own curiosity I treat the two franchises as separate things and Sentai is something I have very little interest in. People always say 'aw the sentai is better' but so what, err... thanks?

I love Jungle Fury because despite all the criticisms it had against it that it was 'going through the motions', it has some of the most complex and just all round good characters that I've seen in Power Rangers for years. And coming straight from Dino Thunder, it's nice to see stories followed through to the end for once.

Well, 12 episodes into Kyoryuger, so 1/4 of the way done (More or less).

So, at the current moment, I'll rank it as 5th favorite Sentai, which is prone to change as things go on and as I watch other Sentai.
1. Gekiranger
2. Dekaranger
3. Kakuranger
4. Goseiger
5. Kyoryuger

It seems that every time it takes a step forward, it takes two steps back and, just before I'm about to stop watching, it takes another step forward and pulls me back in again.
So, yeah. It's doing fine, but the gimmicks are killing things for me.

I found it to be enjoyable.

It's a different beast, but Utsusemimaru is really selling the show for me.
