Decided to check out Star Wars Rebels. 4 episodes in (first episode is a hour long so it counts as two episodes) and I like it. It had a Star Wars: The Clone Wars feel to it. C3-PO and R2-D2 were also in an episode also and they had their little dynamic. I'll keep watching it as I catch up to the latest episode.

Spent most of the weekend marathoning TMNT's second season. Liked it but I think the first was better.

Two spoilery thoughts:

*did Mikey really eat a monster to death from the inside?!?! WHO thought of that?!?!

*if you can't see the "twist" with Irma coming you haven't seen nearly enough action shows.

And finally, this was way too short & yet TOTALLY worth it

I don't think I'm entirely caught up (and we get it slightly later, anyway) but Rebels has been a fun romp, especially the terrific "Rise of the Old Masters" episode. This show is a love letter to the original trilogy, so much so that they use OT-style lightsabers and lightsaber effects.

I and have high hopes for that because it's ALL Matt Groening's property and the humor from each downt revolve around the character spouting off their creator's views on the world.
