I think for myself the reason is because I grew up on 80s sentai prior to MMPR which generally utilized wristwear for devices.

Who is the MOST INTERESTING Red Ranger?

It's hard to like Red Ranger because they get more Screentime, more toy and more spotlight than others but which Red Ranger who is find by many others to be the most interesting red ranger?

I'm gonna go with Geki from Zyuranger. Not because he's all that interesting, but because the majority of the other Sentai I've seen had less interesting reds. Ryo Tendo comes close, but his development seemed kind of forced and Gai stole the spotlight for most of that series.

Decisions, decisions..... I like the weapons ideas. Love it actually. But I have to go with the more pracitcal Phone design. *feels hateful and death glares* I kid, I kid. I definitely prefer the wrist pieces. Much more practical.

So far, easily Ryouga/AbaRed. His outlook, personality, passion, how he treated people and just generally he was really admirable and seeing him lead and kick ass was awesome.

Tsurugi, Riki, Kyosuke, Kenta, Ryouma, Ban, Akashi, Takeru and Alata all entertained me a lot as well from what I've seen.

EDIT: And Tatsuya, can't forget about his story!
