As for the armor, try this tutorial:
Craft Foam Armor It's a cheap and easy way to build armor. You just have to take care that it won't get too hot in summer or too cold in winter, because it might be deformed or break. |

Catherine Jones at God Save the Queen Fashions does absolutely amazing work. But she only takes a limited number of commissions at a time so she isn't always available.
Harrison Krix at Volpin Props also does amazing work, but he's generally strictly props like helmets and weapons. I don't think he does any work with soft parts. You could also ask around the Replica Prop Forum, those folks might be able to point you in another specific direction. |

I have decided that I want to finish a cosplay of Star-Lord based on his movie design in time for the release of the movie. The helmet, shirt, and pants should be easy enough to obtain. My concerns, though involve the coats. In the movie, Star-Lord has two coats: a red jacket of standard length, and a red overcoat.
What I'm wondering is how I can make these coats with sewing skills that would make a blind person cry. Last edited by KRX; 02-20-2014 at 11:07 PM.. |

I made progress on my Agent Venom Cosplay: My Gauntlets/Bracers for him: ![]() ![]() I made them from Cardboard because I just moved and have a ton of it and I'm broke.
