Oh... Well, I wasn't planning on getting any but Chase and probably Wild, but in case I get hooked, that screw over a whole load of tires. I guess we'll probably be seeing Lupin like this, and maybe... I got nothing else.

Lupin is pretty likely to get made in the TKPB line like Blood Orange Arms.

Lets not jump to conclusions here. It could be that Dimension cab won't be featured very much on the show so that's why it's packaged with Proto-Drive. I think thers still one TK that can be put together and then there's the stuff For Drives F-1 upgrade

SHF Drive is up on HLJ again, so if you missed out here's another chance.

Anyone feel like the toys for Drive are not as popular as Gaim? I remember with Gaim, lockseeds, belts and AC figures would sell out fast. With Drive, I haven't seen them sell out fast after the first week or two of the show first starting. I don't see the Shift Cars becoming as popular as the lock seeds where they will go up in prices after the show is over. I think they could be like the Wizard rings where they will still be easy to find and affordable on the secondary market after the show is over.

The problem with Gaims toyline was that they were underproduced.
You couldnt find the toys for months on end becuase there were none to find. bandai didnt make enough thats why retailers like CSToys,HLj or AmiAmi didnt have any. Yes the Toys were popular but thats just half the reason why the merchandise was hard to get a hold off. With Drive they anticipated Gaim like sales thats why they made enough toys to meet the demand. |

Yeah I guess no one was expecting Gaim to do so well since people had mixed feelings for Wizard and I remember people saying Gaim looked stupid before the show came out on 2chan.

And with Gaim it was mostly the first quarter of toys and the arms change line that were actually selling that well in japan. Looking at Bandais fiscal reports they are anticipating the Gaim/Drive year to do less than the Wizard/Gaim year. Drive isnt looking to sell horribly so one can assume that Gaims toyline dropped once the second quarter of toys (Genesis Driver/Sonic Arrow) came along.

Gaim has a life span like this.
Oct - Dec : Selling really well Jan - Sept: Yokai watch and ToQger both come out sales start to drop Yokai watch is doing some serious damage to bandais other brands. apparently Drive is selling but not as much as it could and certain toy sellers think its because of Yokai watch (which is set to make double what rider makes) so yeah this might be the norm until yokai watch finishes |
