That line killed any ounce of interest and "Coolness" Apocalymon had, even when I was like, 9 years old, that line was too much.

After Devimon and Piedmon and the threats they posed, hearing Apocalymon drop that one liner made me shake my head and lose all interest.

Knowing that he was the final villain was the only reason why I even kept watching.
If Devimon or Piedmon had dropped that line I would've given up on Digimon a lot earlier.
