So which precure started the whole CGI dancing at the end credits thing? And how it did become so popular? It actually caught my attention I was watching Futari wa and Heartcatch today, since Ftuari Wa didn't had CGI at it's time.

Side note one of my friends thought the Doki Doki precures were a J-pop girl band when I showed her the ending

I asked this before cause really obvious cell shading cgi in really puts me off the show in show. And wow lol

Well to be fair, their EDs do take place on a preformances stage and Sword and later Heart are using headsets while they sing. I can see why they would thinking that .
