The whole thing about Wizard's 5 fingers is pretty dumb in my opinion, as it's basically implying:
Toei is God and they created the human hands with 5 fingers just so they could continue a gimmick in one of hundreds (thousands?) of TV shows. Toei also made 6 slices symmetrical so they could use it on a visor in again, one of hundreds of TV shows. Doesn't that sound completely dumb? |

I don't think that's "connections that don't exist", I think they're very blatant connections. What are the odds that Wizard would have five fingers, and that the "W" in Wizard is often pronounced or spelled (I can't remember) as "V" which is 5.
What are the odds that Gaim would use "lock seeds", that if mispronounced (which is apparently a very common thing) would end up being the word for "six"? And now Drive has 7 tires? Decade - 1 card to henshin W - 2 memories to henshin OOO - 3 medals to henshin Fourze - 4 switches to henshin Wizard - 5 fingers (hand) to henshin Gaim - 1 lock (mispronounced would be the number 6) to henshin Drive - henshins with 7 tires on his body That's just too easy to connect the dots to not have it be slightly intentional. Drive's suit looks awesome! The tire sash looks awesome, although the red shins/feet look a little weird to me, just because it looks a little like Tajador. |

I don't get the big deal with Shocker. They had their time in the sun. They made sort of sense when they were doing the anniversary stuff for Decade, but it is time to let them go. Or, make Shocker be behind Foundation X or vice versa. There, problem solved.

Is the number convention thing so hard to believe? Like it's been said having moe henshin items would have been silly so they decided to take a more subtle route with it.
Afterall how random an idea was it to use padlocks for a gimmick? What if at Bandai HQ they were thinking about what to do with numbers and the whole lock sounding like 6 came up and they decided to start from there. Same with Wizard, simple idea, five fingers and they built on that. Not saying it's true but god people are really antsy if you bring that up like it's blasphemy that just maybe they decided to continue the number thing.

Also the reasoning for them to use the Lockseed as a henshi gimmick was because it meant something along the lines of them because it meant a new opening for things to come or something along the lines like that (I'll have to find the article) But it had no meaning with the number 6.

The way I see it, W-Fourze were all really obvious naming patterns that alluded to a number theme, with W being, well, half and half, OOO representing three medals, and Fourze literally has the word 'four' in his name.
Nothing about Wizard or Gaim alludes to 5 or 6, respectively. I think that's what kills this theory.

Just because fan speculated it looks like a 6 when unlocked doesn't mean the creators intended it to be nor did they think about the number 6 at all.

I had always assumed that had they wanted to continue the motif they would have made Orange LS 06, instead of Strawberry.
