I hope so, too. I was hoping that the show would end up on Supergirl's Earth so that series could have some of the more casual crossover stuff Flash and Arrow do. The big issue seems to be that all the other DC shows film in Vancouver and Black Lightning is filming in Atlanta.

They gave Jane the Virgin, Legends of Tomorrow, The Originals, and Supernatural renewals. So something being garbage on their network is irrelevant. At least they finally ended Vampire Diarrhea.

Kind of pointless to even make a Black Lightning show if it isn't going to be in the same universe. On the other hand, that gives me a reason to not watch it.

Eh, I'd argue that because Arrowverse is already so connected, Black Lightning being in it's own continuity is a good thing, doesn't scare away newcomers and doesn't make you have to watch other shows you may have no interest in

Well that is just it though. I don't see any reason to watch Black Lightning now that it isn't connected. I'll do what I did way back then with Arrow and wait for the whole season to air, read the reviews, and see if it gets renewed before I even touch it.

That reminds me, there's some new director and writer for DCEU Flash which made everyone think it's Flashpoint. Now everyone wants them to pull a DCEU Rebirth and retcon the shit movies away.
