They let the header idea pass for the year so...
I think this is one of those toys you need to have in hand to really appreciate. In person the arms arent as lanky as they seem in pictures. I was one of the ones that thought it looked horrible combined. But when I got the toy I was blown away. Yes tthere are problems (Ace's legs, chest parts sticking out) but its a FUN toy to transform. If next year they go back to Gokaiger style combinations I may boycott Sentai for the year. |

I thought GokaiOh and all of the subsequent forms and combinations were a downright atrocity, and I don't doubt for a second that there are people who feel the same way about the Gobusters zords. I personally love clusterfluff megazords, and that's probably why I'm so behind all of this Gobuster stuff. But I'm sure that all of the people who hated Samurai HaOh and all of those guys now hate Gobusters with the same vigor. I really wish it didn't boil down to such a lame resolution; I'd love to stand on a burning pile of RaiOhs and proclaim myself rightful leader of the design team behind these mechs, really, I would. But darn it, it's hard to make somebody see eye-to-eye with you if they have different definitions of what's cool. |

You see, this is turning into nothing but a matter of personal taste now.

I think the next Sentai mecha shouldn't be like Go-BusterOh or a Voltron-combiner.
It should be like Magiking. That's the level of awesomeness Bandai should be striving for.

But then it would be a stand alone toy... Bandai would NEVER do that. But i agree. We need something like that. Interesting combination with a good alt transformation. It was good that gobuster experimented but met with mixed responses. Now take that further.
