Wizard Episode 14 "The Return of the Film Director" Discussion

This episode was better, but I think they dropped an obvious compelling story point just to make grief for Haruto and the chick.
A Phantom with some memories of his former gate? There is a lot of story possibilities there, but instead they just made him some jerk who attacked humans because he could. Thus I'm forced to stand by my statement that All Phantoms are inherently irredeemable, thus they can't have a story.

Anyway, the episode was fine. Koyumi's little adventure did hold some tension (Even if nothing actually happened. But hey, tense atmosphere is always nice), Wiseman spawning the stones is rather interesting (Also raises the question of how Kizaki got his hands on the green one), and it's nice to see the White Wizard plotting in the background (I seriously hope he's an antagonist by series end, just helping Haruto and friends so he can get rid of Wiseman).

Ah, Wizard. I can tell the writers are at least trying to improve, but nothing can save this show now. At least until LaToraTah 2.0 pops up and does his vampire stick.

No, it seems the writers are trying to give Haruto more to do than fight Phantoms, as evidenced by him taking Koyumi shopping and him actually REACTING to the environment around him. Maybe by episode 16 we'll see a Haruto worth watching...

I liked the episode. Also that's not Lizardman!
