So crazy amounts of acupuncture from a porcupine MOTW makes you turn into an 80s style delinquent...OKAY.

After the last three episodes I kinda forgot that Gekiranger even had MOTWs.I really love Gekiranger for that fact,showing you don't need some random gimmicky monster to have a plot.Even though this batch of episodes kinda do that,I still liked them.

So how is that Jan has had 2 girls fall for him?You'd think Retsu would be that kinda guy,but Alice wasn't even swayed by his artist skills.And the revelation of Miki being a legendary leader of a gang is pretty badass.I like her character,but we're halfway through the series and she hasn't gotten to do much since her fight from the first episode.I like how they're introducing Gou so far.They don't just hand him a Changer immediately.We get to learn more about him,his relationships with the team,the Kenshi and Miki.It makes the payoff of him becoming GekiViolet more meaningful.Also,dude picked up a bee and tossed it without giving it a second thought...that alone makes him a bad ass

New villains.I don't care who you are,but you do NOT take Rio's cape.That is HIS!!!So Maku seems to be the generic "Grrrrr I'm angry bad guy" but as long as he does some bad ass stuff,I won't really care.Long,not much is revealed about him and he literally came out of nowhere so I hope something good will come out of him.

Overall,good episodes and great way to introduce a new Ranger.Can't wait to see him in action next week.

2. Alice wasn't swayed because she knew Retsu half-assed it in exchange for the organ. She expected better out of such a genious artist

3. Maku has some good moments when he steps up to fight. As for Long, he's good at what he does. What he does you'll just have to wait and see .

That's why I love Gekiranger. Any lesser series would have given Gou a morpher 2 episodes ago, during the same episode as his introduction.

As for Maku, I may love Gekiranger, but Maku I can't defend. While he can fight like the best of them, he's actions seem more in line with "GRR! SEND NEW MONSTER! GROWL! RAWR!"

Maku was pretty much the prototype Doukoku when you think about it .

I hope that means Maku gets an "AAAAAKUUUUUUUMAAAAAROOOOOOOOOOOOO" moment like Doukoku did.That moment cemented him as one of my favorite Sentai villains.Even if the villain does almost nothing for the majority of the series,something like that will completely change my mind about them.
