Honestly, it feels like everyone at Saban got real excited when they found out that Gokaiger is a show that calls back to the franchise' history, but then they remembered that they were behind one show.

The way I see it: Goseiger into Megaforce just feels like something that they just wanted to get out of the way as quick as they possibally could.

None of which would've been a problem if they'd have kept the single season a year format, and told Nick where to stick itself. Samurai would've been a single year, then Megaforce, then whatever you want to call Gokaiger. And none it would've been a big deal.

I think diaranger would have been cool, I think sabin gave kids back then far to little credit. We would have still gotten new swords they could have found a way to explain the costume change and made it work. I always thought the reason that they were skipping go buster was cause it was to dark in terms of the storyline and how all those people were killed in a teleportation accident.

That's not the reason, though. They don't have to follow the story at all. All they do is just dub over the in suit action, so they can have the story contour to anything they want.

I know. I mean, they even kept the "Look! The tiny crest on GoseiKnight's head resembles Master Head!" thing in from Goseiger. It does not work because the Tensouder does NOT look like Master Head so it CANNOT look "just like Gosei!"
