The only thing I didn't like about the episode was the girl's acting. I couldn't one of the more important scenes seriously because of that laugh.

Loved this finale. I hate bullshit epilogue endings like last week. This one felt like the real deal and tacked on villain or not, I enjoyed it immensely. The feel worthy moments here were excellent. Jonouchi becoming Kurokage was powerful stuff. And Micchy becoming the hero he was meant to be in the beginning really got me.

I'll save my final decision for the subs, but right now he feels like the Micchy from the start of the show, the one everyone loved. And that's great. What would make it even cooler would be if his taking over Gaim's duty as Zamawe's protector also extended into the crossover moves, with him being the series' representative. There's not a chance in hell that'd ever happen, but I still like the idea.

With the exception that the one at the beginning of the show was very insecure about himself and was just a kid pretending to be a hero. The Micchi at the end is almost the opposite. He isnt insecure anymore and knows where his strengths and weaknesses are. He became a man that went through hell and came back scarred. He ruined not just his own life but the lifes of so many people he loved and he knows that. He is aware of what he has done wrong and even if he will never truly be a hero he will do everything in his power to atone for his sins.

I'd be perfectly fine with Micchy returning when Kouta can't be bothered. Hell, he is the Sayaka stand-in after all.

Anyway, I kind of have to wonder if they saw how all the Ryugen merchandise was piling up in the warehouses and they made him return to the light just to make him sellable again. Either way, I've got no complaints- Micchy has been just as engaging a character and had just as great an arc as Kouta. Not bad for a third-string Rider.
