No it's correct statues costs a lot in general. Google xm magneto or check eBay. It's a fun hobby for fans of comics, movies and tv. Most statue collectors buy about 10 to 20 per year. Space is normally a huge factor to display and store the massive brown boxes. The prime 1 studios in statues are stunning as well. Google it you will love them. Prices start at 1500.00 to 2000.00 for some higher end ones. There is more g1 statues on the way as well with tons of dc and marvels. Once you see some in person you will be hooked. Lol sdcc and wondercon has some of them if you go to those shows. They will have prime 1 studios, sideshow, etc... But not xm statues since they are from overseas. Shipping alone can cost up to 400.00. These are 1/4 scale and the newer 1/3 scales coming out soon.
I collect both toys and statues love both. I normally like to stay under 300.00 to 500.00 for toys. Statues prefer no more than 1k, but 3k to 5k max. Only for the must haves.

SH Monster Arts can be just as pricey as X Plus. Dependent on the character. Both Mecha King Ghidorah and Biollante ran me 200 dollars a piece. King Ghidorah and Destoroyah were 100 dollars a piece.

I paid a pretty penny for the long out of production Ultra Act Kaiju as well, Gomora, Eleking, and Golza.
