Just something special about old school kaijin ya know? There's a weird, I almost want to say innocence to them, if that makes any sense. It's great seeing these guys done justice like this.

I've not watched a ton of Ultraman, but this fish guy is making me want to. What a bizarre design. I like the "wet" look that they've given him as well. It's just a nice touch.

Seeing such unorthodox monsters in figure form is why I actually really look forward to these Ultraman Kaiju galleries. They're really going full hog on them, and while I have no interested in picking them up myself, they're still a treat to look at. This big dumb squid monster does not disappointed in that regard. He's so goofy looking, so just the fact that it got made is awesome.
