Watching Humancentipede. Now, either I've been desenstized to violence over the years like the news always said I would be.. or it wasn't that horrible. All I've heard is how I'll be disgusted, and it was the worst bit of gore anyone had ever seen, and on and on.. But seriously? It was more of a comedy than anything else.
Korean and Japanese horror movies have spoiled me for the rest of the world. They have. Once you watch Audition, Humancentipede does become a bit of a comedy misadventure. |

My problem with the Human Centipede wasn't the gore, but that it was a poor attempt at shock horror. It wasn't trying to be interesting or creative or even all that scary. It was just "I wonder if we can make the people with weak stomachs actually puke!? Wouldn't that be cool?"
Anyway, just watched Imaginaerum. T'was an interesting movie about a man suffering from dementia.

Saw Alpha Papa this afternoon and it was okay, nothing special. It was very funny though, so I suppose the film served its purpose. Especially at the staff price of nothing.

You're thinking of The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus.

It's a pretty decent movie. I'm hesitant to call it good, but it's by no means bad. My friend (Who's big into Nightwish, also the one who made me watch it) loved it, so if you're a Nightwish fan, you should enjoy it, too.
