Im not usually that bothered about catching them all, but for some reason im obssessed with it in this Gen. Think it's the shiny new animations and graphics as im even liking pokemon that I used to hate =p

I've always loved catching Pokemon. I think the only Gen where I wasn't obsessive over doing so was during Gen 5.
Anyway, I never cared for competitive battling...Well, that's a lie, I participated during Gen 3 and 4, and it was boring as fuck and sucked all the fun out of the game. Never going back to it.

The minimap in the top corner doesn't do jack because it doesn't tell me which plaza or avenue is which beyond the one I'm on, and it disappears 2 seconds later anyway.

The guid helps with that and has a good map

With the improved connection the 3DS, I'm sure they could have an extra area that's distributed via wifi.

Then again, Arceus had an area in Gen 4, but was only distributed at Gamestop for free.
