Go-Busters 26: The supporting staff finally gets some spotlight, Nakamura gets out of her shell, Morishita is a human calculator, and Kurorin is awesome with a mop.
![]() Manual transformation, take-off Go-Buster Ace Stag Custom! 27: Nick's sense of direction (or lack of it) proves to be useful again, the professor's daughter would have been good friends with Queen and Elizabeth, and Ryuuji gets the spotlight this time. 28: I don't like the new op, but properly adding J and Jin to the ending is nice. As Hiromu's sister returns to town we get another Nick's episode, mostly about Hiromu's weakpoint, I never trusted chickens... poor guy. Turns out Hiromu used to ahve problems even with fried chicken. ![]() Interesting to note, that the transformations caused by this week Metaroid are dispersed by water, reminds me of the Turbo movie. ![]() Things are getting more serious as we learn about Gog and Magog and Jin's enetron was stolen. 29: Hiromu's Dad! The humans on hyperspace work for Messiah. And everybody is together with a single goal, the accumualted feelings of 13 years will come to a conclusion next episode as the Go-Busters face Messiah. So hyped, but I have to wait till the afternoon. Last edited by algo448; 09-09-2013 at 12:20 PM.. |

Go-Busters 30: What do you mean this isn't the end of the series, wtf are we going to do in the next 20 episodes!?
Anyways that was a nice "not-ending", good way to wrap up all the plot points, it could have used an extra episode so it wouldn't feel so rushed but generally speaking I liked it a lot. What did we learn this time? Enter and Escape are collective avatars, the scientists in hyperspace became part of Messiah, and we finally see Jin's body, why the heck isn't he part of Messiah too!? Lots of hard choices this episode. Overall an excellent episode, next time we meet... Gavan!? The heck? |

Opinion is mixed on the movie itself. I thought it was alright, but its quite slow to begin with. The fact it apparently bombed means we probably won't see much more outside Super Hero Taisen Z either.

I thought it was pretty sub par. They barely seemed to use the dimension thing that makes monsters stronger and the new guy was awful. It is kind of sad when the original Gavan outshines the new guy an hour into the movie with one fight short fight scene. The movie had too much exposition and not enough on screen development.

Dairanger 21. I never understand why these shows make such a song and dance about the mecha, considering they are usually isolated to like thirty second sequences which are awkwardly tacked on at the end. I always assumed it was just Power Rangers editing the footage down, but that is literally how it is in most sentai shows.
It's funny how blurred the lines seem, when you don't censor the word kill. They are evil monsters for sure, but showing us the pain of the monsters who have lost friends and relatives to the Dairanger's, it becomes really uncomfortable in how little difference there is between them and the Dairanger's, other than the show telling us the Dairanger's are the good guys. For all the smack Akomaru talks of everyone, can he actually do...anything? I know he did that weird arrow move, but to this day I have no real idea what happened during that sequence and he's never shown any kind of power since. Minus some pretty dated special effects, the action was still enjoyable this episode. Especially as they're fighting the main villains directly and not just another goofy two parter villain. I do love how unique each Dairanger feels, even if I don't care much for any of them aside from Kou and Daigo. Although for such a lasting set of villains, I wish they made the Priestesses look a lot less...shit. Oh and it's kinda ironic, if the Fire Star, gets killed by the sun. Kaku is still doing his best Zordon impression.

Catching up on Kyoryuger, just watched 17 and 18. Really missed these guys. But yeah, it was nice to see King's 'perfectness' be pointed out and used. Also really dug Kung-Fu and the little (probably predates the matrix but I'm kung-fu film illiterate) morpheus 'bring it on' hand thing.
