Talking about subs, I have a hard time watching anime subbed. When I was watching the Gundam compilation movies, I had a hard time following everything. Since anime is such a visual medium, subs do not do it justice as they take you away from all of the stuff happening on screen.

Toku is not just easier to watched subbed because it's live action, but it's paced perfectly well so that subs don't intrude on the action. When characters speak during combat, its either a quick line, or they stop to talk. In anime, somebody might be giving a monologe intercut with action and you'll miss something

Well yeah, plus there's less dubbed toku than there is dubbed anime. The only CONSISTENT Toku we have is Power Rangers, the even more kid friendly version of Super Sentai, whilst we have a metric shit ton of dubbed animes like Black Lagoon & Blue Exorcist both of which I LOVE watching.

As I'm sure a lot of do as well. It's just impossible not to miss action when constantly staring down. I mean, some things you can easily miss something even when it's dubbed.

It may be because I grew up watching american shows subbed, but I really don't mind subs at all, I kind of prefer them, and can't understand how that causes to miss the action.

Me either, eyes aren't a camera lens, you can focus on more than one thing at once.

There's nothing wrong with preferring dubs, I just find the idea of missing stuff very silly.
