You know, you really got the better end of the deal in that instance.
![]() Not getting the thing you originally wanted sucks, but not if you can sell it and get what you do want and still have cash to spare! I know I ordered the KT Wild Chalice and am looking forward to it.....buuuuuuuuuuut if you accidentally ship me the main SIC version instead, I'm totally cool with that. No worries. Sincerely, Me Quote:
Also, in my latest experience with older SIC figures, the Knight/Ouja two-pack arrived today. I snagged it for a decent price on Mandarake. Ouja is rather boring; just a couple weapons and extra hands but nothing else really for him. Knight is pretty cool since he comes with his Survive mode parts (though unfortunately, no Darkwing). The unfortunate part is, while attempting to remove his left forearm for his Survive mode forearm, the elbow joint broke. I can actually loosely plug it back into the joint and it holds, but yeah another superglue candidate. It's too bad because otherwise he's pretty damn fun, like Ryuki and other SICs that are two figures in one. I'm sure if the connection between the elbow joint and forearm was different (a rod type connector instead of ball joint) it would've been fine. This also means I will probably never bother to transform the Ryuki I own from normal to Survive mode either to avoid any risk of breakage. The only other issue is both come with loose ankle joints. They can hold a pose, but I'll have to be a little careful to avoid jostling any shelf I have them on to avoid them tipping forward. Interesting difference compared to Ryuki, who is pretty immaculate in terms of tightness despite being roughly the same age. EDIT: Oh, FYI, AmiAmi got some more KTs in. Some sold already, but a few are still there: Decade - http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...%24pagecnt%3D1 Kaixa - http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...%24pagecnt%3D1 Blade Jack Form -http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...%24pagecnt%3D1 Zanki (also available for backorder) - http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...%24pagecnt%3D1 Todoroki (also available for backorder) - http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...%24pagecnt%3D2 Last edited by Lbsammills51; 08-25-2013 at 12:27 AM.. |

Remember that thing a little while back about a 15th anniversary SIC figure? Yeah, it's just another Rider 1.

Goddammit.
I was hoping for something we actually needed. Like Fourze, or the missing secondary riders like Accel/Trial and Birth. Or anything besides another God damn Rider 1. |

So... I think I know the answer to this but just to check...
The other king and jack forms from blade (so Leangle and Garren's) did they actually get made and released or where they just examples for the S.I.C story things? |

Some of them did. Garren Jack form was a Toei exclusive, Chalice Jack form was Tamashii Event exclusive, and Blade Jack form came with Leangle as a twin pack regular release.

I received the Hopper Bros. two-pack last week and had a chance to open them up this weekend.
![]() They're...ok. Nothing wrong whatsoever, but not as fulfilling as other releases due the relative lack of accessories. I was kind of expecting it (the Figuarts releases of these two didn't come with much either, right?), but it still was a bit disappointing. The Hopper Bros. themselves are pretty, certainly. Also, no stands were included. The SIC stands (well, the ones that came with Tajadol and Putotyra combos) weren't that great to begin with, but considering the effects part for each works best when posed mid-air (especially Punch Hopper), I was curious if a stand would be included. No dice. (Like Kabuto and some other SICs, you can more overtly feel the die-cast included with these two [thanks to the die-cast leg pieces] much more than you can with the OOO figures.) I also received Shauta Combo this morning and will post more pics of that later. |
