I never played them as I found the art style a bit too offputting and in my experience, the games were too expensive to give a shot, iirc it was like 50 euros for the first game? I wouldn't mind trying them at a discount cause from what I understand, the action is really over the top and fun and hey, I've finally started getting through Trails of Cold Steel, if I can get through those games just to get to the good stuff later in the series, I can probably go through Disgaea. The Disgaea series is filled with Toku references. You have the Prism Rangers, who are a parody of Super Sentai. The valkyrie special attack in the Vita version of Disgaea 3 is SaGoZo Combo's SaGoZo Impact, a fun nod to Kamen Rider OOO. The Space Galaxy Kick in Disgaea D2 is also a nod to Foruze

Started and completed Dredge over the weekend and I gotta say, as one of the two people on the planet who actually liked the sailing and treasure-hunting segments in OG Wind Waker, this game was exactly My Brand.

The Lovecraftian elements were just the cherry on top of the sundae.

I've been playing Hundred Line Last Defence Academy and jesus this might be one of my favourite games, the ganeplay is solid but these 100 endings have mostly been at least interesting to experience, even if there's a bunch of fucked up stuff going on, including unexpected sex scenes, but these characters feel so fun, th?re's a pretty unique vibe with it and I'm only halfway through my 49th ending, this game rules

I 100% Jedi Survivor (except for the traversal Fractured Tears and the Legendary Enemy combat Tears because, and I cannot emphasize this enough, SCREW THAT), and you know what?

All my many many many many many many many many many issues with Star Wars under the direction of The Rat aside, That's Good Star War.

Game is jank as hell on the PS4 though. I was afraid my game was going to crash again while doing the last bounty because of how many mobs were being generated and thrown at me at once.
