It was hilarious. ![]() Quote:
I liked the ending enough. But I'm on the rare minority that isn't crazy about it. |

Anyways, 4 episodes into Code Geass (I was so tired I almost fell asleep during the last episode, otherwise I would have watched more) and i've been really enjoying it so far. It seems pretty much like Death Note with mecha, which is cool. Quote:
Code Geass is a great show, but a flawed one. THe first season feels too much like Gundam SEED while the second season could have been done in 15 episodes. Nevertheless, the ending makes the series well worth it.

I haven't seen SEED in a LONG time, but I think I could see it. Should I even bother with R2 though? I heard it's nowhere near as good as the first series.

Finished Angel Beats! I had not seen the ending coming at all. That was very, very touching (even if it does make one question the timeline of that world).
Moving on to Log Horizon then.

As a whole it holds up, but the second season is undeniably weaker.

I'd say the third was the weakest though, definietly skip that. While on the subject of Patlabor they did an Ultra Seven parody: |

Well since the first season does not have an ending, yes, you definitely should. The biggest problem with the second season is it aired 6 months after the first had ended, so the feel of the show is different due to the passage of time. The show starts back up about 6 months later and even though we did not see what happened, time continued to pass in the Code Geass universe, so it throws you off the first time you watch it. It takes a few episodes to get used to it and for things to be explained. When they do though, my god it is freaking incredible. Everything Ledouch does has a purpose to it and it is shown in the final episode.
