True... so very true. I guess what I meant to say was "overarching storyline" when I said plot. Though now that you mention it I guess it could work if I had a strong supporting cast of other background ponies... Though all I can think of at the moment is Bon Bon.

I have managed to think of a title though. How does "Heart Song" sound?

There's an army of background ponies, so you have tons of options.

Lyra, Bon Bon, Carrot Top, Octavia, Vinyl Scratch, Derpy and her daughter(?) Dinky, Dr. Whooves/Time Turner, Berry Punch, Colgate. To name a few.

And "Heart Song" sounds about right for nonsensical slice of life. I brought up Azumanga Daioh which has Soramimi Cake and Rasberry Heaven as it's intro and outro respectively, so why not?

Edit: Derpy and Dinky would be great as a mother-daughter version of Osaka and Chiyo-chan.

Lyra and Bonny are pretty much a given (Lyra being the "mane character" and Bon Bon because... well, she's Bon Bon ) As for the others... Yeah, I may have to do some research. Think I'll leave Derpy out though considering how frequently she's used in fan work.

I love both those songs.
