He has shown in many times he can be competent, it's just that anything he learns is inmediately tossed aside.

Why because May is the only character who actually does her job right?

Or you mean learn how to be a good coordinator? Because she was never a good one.
I honestly don't see anything May did right beyond being a bitch.

Did another 3 ratings battles tonight - lost 2, won 1.

Given how my success rate with these things seem to be 50/50, I think I'll take a break from them for now. Too many Aegislash and Greninjas popping up.

Talonflame seems quite popular too, which surprised me. Must be better than I assumed it is as a fighter.

I'm not surprised. In order to take advantage of Aegislash's stat changing, you have to move slower than it, which is a tall order...

And Talonflame being popular doesn't surprise me. With Stealth Rock currently at a low thanks to the small amount of Pokemon who learn it naturally and Bank not being out for another month, Charizard and Talonflame's biggest fear isn't a confirmed threat right now.

Talonflames hidden ability is quite broken, priority to all flying moves would make anything popular.
