Hastings is a hybrid book store type thing in the US. http://www.gohastings.com/
It's cool that they're selling Tamashii products, though like I said, it'd have been better if it was available in a store that appears in all the places within Bluefin's jurisdiction. Maybe Canadians will one day get them in Chapters or something, haha. |

Pacific Rim, 2015 at the eariest?
To make room for Aliens and Predators? Franchises that have had plenty of toys made since their release verses Pacific Rim only having a few okay figures from ONE company? Eeehhhhh.... That really sucks. Pacific Rim is rife with toy opportunities, but there has been nothing but NECA's crap first wave and "marginally above-average" second wave. I didn't expect Tamashii to, like, get the license immediately and just start pumping them out now, but still... |

Honestly, I'm still confused by the AvP line. Out of all of the things out there, why those two?

There's a rich market for Alien and Predator merch. It only made sense to acquire the license. No one makes high end Alien or Pred products. NECA doesn't really count considering the limitations of what their standard figures can do with a limited amount of articulation. This is a pretty logical step if you ask me. It's not something I'd buy but I can see the appeal.

Didn't Revoltech make Alien figures a few years back?

They did. But Revoltechs are kind shitty too. I've had a few in the last couple years and I've never had one that I would call "high end" or "collector."
Kind of like their Iron Man figures. The SHF's are a huge improvement.
