Thats what I think too. She comes of as a spin on the Narutaki character. Someone who knows whats going to happen even if the other characters dont.
I would guess shes from a reality where the whole Rider Battle already happened and she tries to change Gaims role in it. The whole alternate reality thing seems the most logical after the Wizard two parter introducing the audiences to the concept again and the next Movie Taisen further exploring it. |

I still think this is all Deneb's latest crackpot scheme to get Yuuto to eat his shiitake.

The only thing keeping me from believing enitrely in that theory, is Urobuchi saying that the Rider war is not a flashback but rather of hint of what's going to happen in the future. But I really like the idea of Mai (2) trying to avoid the war. If anything it's J's plan to make the word "Juicy" relevant, Sentai is his sidekick. |

Yeah! My thoughts exactly.

But I really like the idea of Mai (2) trying to avoid the war. Well it wouldnt technically be a flashback if the Rider War we saw at the beginning was the one of the prime timeline. Mai (2) could be from a reality were the war played out completely different. |

And the whole timeline thing would be in line with Madoka which is the most recent thing he has done. Also Takebe and Urobuchi made comments that they want the series to be more like Ryuki a series which also dealt with different timelines.

It makes for very intriguing storylines, but it's a little bit overdone at this point...

Ryuki didn't handle alternate timelines so much as arbitrarily changed things in ways that made no sense because someone didn't like the ending.

Well we got the Movie and TV Special which showed us different timelines were the Rider Battle progressed differently. The only thing Ryuki didnt do was make the alternate timelines a integral part of its storyline.
