Netflix will not have PR forever. Hell, for all we know, it will disappear from their listings in twenty minutes. I really hate Netflix. I just recently did a search on Netflix for 50 different Film Noir movies. Do you know how many of the 50 they had? THREE!! And I'm not talking about lesser known films, I'm talking about ones like Sunset Blvd, The Big Sleep, Key Largo, Asphalt Jungle, Night of the Hunter, White Heat, The Big Heat, etc.
There's a reason for that. When they had stuff like that their customers didn't watch. They don't renew content or seek licenses when they know that few people want it. Most of the random junk they get that no one watches they only have because it's packaged by content companies with things they do want to buy. Many things, like Star Wars, aren't available because the owners have no interest in selling the streaming rights. Even Hulu won't have most of the movies you listed and they specialize in old stuff they can get the rights to for cheap. Netflix streaming isn't supposed to have every movie every made. That's just impractical. Netflix as more quality movies and TV shows than any person can watch. Also, try other regions. Tons of content outside the US. If they do start releasing specific sagas of episodes centering around certain themes and such, I wonder if we'd get over character specific ones such as Titanium's introduction.

![]() Well yes, this doesn't help the whole JDF ego thing, but he is the (sigh) most marketable Power Ranger at the moment. Plus, the "Green With Evil" series was on VHS once upon a time ... this could get those people who go "OH SHIT I REMEMBER THIS!" to purchase it on impulse for whatever the price is.

Streaming is all about licensing, which makes is bullshit because I should have access to see any movie I want whenever I want. I cannot even rent these movies because the only places left to rent movies are Red Box and they only carry the big boobied explosion movies. I cannot rent classics from Red Box. Honestly, I have to say I am a bit disappointed in JDF. The man talks about how much he loves the fandom. How he would do a Power Rangers episode for $1 just to please the fans, as the fans are the reason he is where he is to this day. Yet, he is going to be at Denver Comic Con next weekend, and he is charging $40 for an autography. FOURTY FUCKING DOLLARS!!! Walter Jones and David Yost want $20, which is still a rip off, especially from a person who wasn't even on the show for two full seasons. |

"Green with Evil?"
More like Green with being a bitch-ass BUSTA. I'm seriosuly laughing hard right now. I can't believe this is happening after the whole JDF shit that went down recently. |

And that is what frustrates me more than anything else. These companies talk big and want us to stream movies and such nowadays rather than buy them, but they don't want to provide them to companies to stream them. I miss the days of Video Factory and Blockbuster when I could walk into any one of them and find nearly every movie in existence there to rent. Nevertheless, of course JDF can afford to only be paid $1 for an episode of PR, he is gouging his fanbase of their money instead.

torn... but for 9 bucks, why not. It was definitely the most memorable saga, and I used to own the VHS set as well (cost an absurd amount back then too)

Shout! is doing to this to milk the series. Funi does this with the orange bricks DVD sets.

The price more to do with there agents then then the actors. Cause I remember some sure Jason faunt wanted to do them for free but it was his agent putting the price on the autographs so it be the same deal with Walter and David and sadly JDF and his agent prices it at $40 cause he knows they pay that regardless.
You say it is their agents, but then how come autographs at every anime convention I go to are free? |
