Is Super Sentai's villain begin to suck?

I wouldn't mind more Villains like Rio, Mele, Enter, and Escape. Ones that look human and have a powered form/monster form. I love those.

Naruto and One Piece has some violent stuff that happens on TV and there's main target group is elementary school aged boys. I guess live action violence is stricter then animated violence. At least they are as strict as they were in the 70's. The 70's Devilman TV series would never allow the same level of violence you see in the manga.

Again there is a difference in when they air. Naruto airs during japanese Prime time between 7 pm and 10 pm. This is alot later than Sentai and Rider air thats why they can show more violence in their programming.

I am loving this entire argument of the only way a villain can be good is to be ultra-violent. You know, instead of having a good backstory and good acting and good development.

No. He has to go around beating women unconscious and slicing open people's stomachs.

Exactly. We've all thrown our two cents in, but the fact of the matter is who gives a rats ass if you always see the destruction the character causes. It does not add to their CHARACTER and make them good or bad as a character, nor does it mean the show is any better or any worst.

You know, it's kind of a shame what they did with Radiguet.
In the time span of one episode (The one where he killed a woman, as noted in the opening post), he actually gained a surprising amount of depth that could have made him into quite the amazing villain.
But they just made him even more insane and the events of that episode were never brought up again...
