Like a few others here Gaim for me was my first rider series that I watched weekly, and again like others I thought the whole fruit motif was a bit lamed eventually over time with more and more promo the Orange Samurai grew on me, and then came the 1st episode and I was really just blown away of how it settled in as the first episode. Gaim is also the first rider series where I bought their belt from as well as buying the Gaim Figuart right when he was released. So yup thank you Gaim you were awesome and I hope however you come back for future crossovers they do you justice"hopefully".

Hope they explain things fairly decently in the last episode or the Gaim X Drive crossover.

I'd believe that if it didn't have a completely different writer.

That's a pretty good point... I really don't expect anything to be said, much like Blade being a monster is ignored and Shinji is still able to become Ryuki. Which will be quite a bit of a shame.

I am going to miss this show. It started out as a goofy show about kids street dancing wearing armor made out of fruit from another dimension, and turned into a big ball of depression and epic story. In my opinion, Best Heisei Rider series by far.

Urobutchi may not have written the episode but he is listed as the supervising writer for it. He had plenty of creative input on this episode. The show isn't just over an episode earlier because he didn't write this one. Most shows have multiple writers anyway. This one just had 1 guy who did 46 of the 47 episodes given. Riku Sanjou wrote like 35 or so of the 48 Kyoryuger episodes and the stuff he didn't do isn't invalidated. Frankly the only thing writer shifts do is change the quality, but they don't make parts of the show invalid. It's simply that in this case the shift is more apparent as there was primarily only 1 writer for the series.

I felt sad for reading this synopsis, because I found Gaim's theme to be completely ridiculous. Fruit? I just can't get past it.
Seems to be that way with me though. Either a Sentai or Rider has a great story and crappy costumes/themes or a crappy story and really great costumes/themes (mecha). The only Sentai series I can appreciate both with has been Boukenger. Even Decade's magenta is terrible, but I can over look it. I really want to like Gaim, it seems fun. Ugh. |

Nothing against you, Mnemonic, I was just using your post as an example. It's your opinion and that's fine but I can't understand that view. |

It's been almost a year and you're still not used to the wonderful fruit?

And yeah, I'm also one of those who watched Gaim as it airs, which made me attached to a certain level to this series.
And the fruit armors, yeaaaaaah. I hate that it has to end, but everything must do so, in order to give way to new stuff.
