That's not very good. I didn't notice my Blastoise having a loose neck, but I didn't mess with it much. Everything seemed tight. My only complaint is paint rub on the top of his claws near the joint on the left hand. It's to be expected I suppose. My Charizard has weird marks on the front of his snout, but I've seen others that are similar but not as bad. Mewtwo looks pretty good though. Overall they're toys I don't expect perfection, but there are certainly QC problems of varying degrees present within the line.

So MetalGarurumon.
1. Slightly smaller than I expected. 2. Good lord is Tamashii getting ridiculous with the amount of plastic they wrap around joints. 3. Slightly more awesome than I expected. Only messed around with posing him so far, but there's really not anything I can think of that he's missing. The effect parts he includes also look pretty darn cool. As usual with Tamshii products, I do wish he had a stage... Especially considering he includes an attachment piece to put on a stage arm. But no stage?! WHY.

The aftermarket for Metalgarurumon is already insane. I'm seeing one listed for 200$!
![]() I'm real surprised Bluefin didn't bring him over. |

I really wish they had answered my (and many others') question about why they weren't... But it's probably due to it being a web exclusive... Or a license issue with Saban?

Which they aren't bringing over either.

Yeah, I asked on their page about it and they didn't answer. Some guy that seems to reply to a lot of things just said they pretty much weren't interested in Digimon. Well.. that may be true but I'd prefer to hear it from Bluefin. I got MetalGarurumon from BBTS and that was already an ugly mark up. It's certainly a bitter pill to swallow, and really don't want to have to pay this much for every future Digimon release. Digimon still has a US media presence so I don't get why Bluefin opted to not import MetalGarurumon OR WarGreymon Designer Edition. Tons of what they bring over are Web Exclusives too, so I don't get that angle either. Whatever the case it's depressing for us Digimon fans.

So I have quite a bit of a concern with MetalGarurumon.
The ball joints in his abdomen were terrifyingly tight. Ya know, creaking loud as hell tight. I managed to pop off his chest and get some shock oil in there and it's fine now. But I simply cannot remove it from his rear. And that side's a lot worse. Even a turn to the side shrieks. Moving up and down... yikes.. It just does not sound good and I don't want to tear it off. ![]()

Hmm.. That's tricky. I wouldn't want to try heating him with hot water because of the tons of joints and paint, or heating him with a hair dryer for the same reason. Though maybe lightly heating him with a hair dryer just enough might loosen the joint somewhat? Otherwise I would just leave it be.

I broke pretty much the golden rule of using shock oil and built up enough to form a small drop on the toothpick. Got that in there and there's now LESS squeaking, but it still does. Especially when twisted... Maybe I will just have to let it go and never move him there much...
