Where are you at? The releases are still fairly new aren't they?
Speaking of new releases, I posted this in the D-Arts thread, but since we got on the topic of Digimon D-Arts previously I think it's okay to mention it here. BBTS charged me for MetalGarurumon yesterday, and I'm just waiting for him to ship. I already paid for my WarGreymon reissue, so that's two down. I'll take some pics once MetalGarurumon arrives if anyone would like that? I wonder if we could ever get a Diaboromon (An actual D-Art, not the statue they displayed).

By the way, which WarGreymon figure do you guys think matches MetalGarurumon better? The first D-Arts release or the upcoming Designer Edition?

![]() The links you posted before are Japanese audio with English subs right? That's all I need, unless I misunderstood the site, lol. Quote:

Yeah, I wonder that as well. At this point I would take a Figuarts Zero Diaboromon and be happy just to get him, but a D-Art release would be much nicer. Finally getting MetalGarurumon, plus the new WarGreymon reissue has me hopeful we will see more. Though I'm not expecting anything at SDCC since Bluefin doesn't seem interested in the line much anymore. ![]() Last edited by Sciencefriction; 07-10-2013 at 01:36 PM.. |

Awesome. Can't wait to see!
And Diaboromon was always a personal favorite of mine. While his limbs are somewhat spindly, he'd be so much cooler if he could be posed.

![]() I really like Diaboromon as well. As a kid I'd watch the Digimon movie on VHS all the time. Looking back I see the flaws it has, but I still enjoy it. The monster designs are just so cool. Diaboromon would be much cooler if you could post him. I'd like to be able to put him in an attacking pose rather than the casual one he was displayed in. |

I never owned the movie, so TV airings and a one time rental were my only options to watch it. I wasn't wowed with it. I felt the first portion (With the giant Agumon) was boring, the second portion to be awesome tastic, and the third portion to come right out of nowhere.
And I seriously didn't give a crap about Wallace. Kari went on and on about a character who doesn't do jack until the last 10 minutes. He shows up, like, 20 minutes earlier, but he doesn't have any significance. And speaking of, Kari? Most overrated and overhyped character in the franchise.

I think my fascination with the movie was because of the second part as well. I agree the first and third parts I pretty "huh?" moments. I guess that's what you get when try to combine three different movies into one. What I took away from the movie was Omegamon and Diaboromon. That is always fun to watch, it's probably my favorite part of the entire Digimon franchise. Omegamon is the perfect hero Digital Monster. He's regal and powerful, but sleek and well designed instead of over the top. The same with Diaboromon, he's just really well designed and comes across as pure mayhem and evil.
Kari.. yes, very overrated. Then again, most of the human characters are meh. lol. I've yet to see the three films with original Japanese audio & english subs, I can't find good quality. ![]() |
