Yeah..... That doesn't make it any better. Bandai let him do his thing and we've got a show that could be worse then Victory Gundam, when Bandai was actually meddling with his production.

I've been thinking of watching Gundam 00 but I was wondering if I needed to watch any other series to get full enjoyment of it.

Just know that the early episodes really drag on. If you get bored, just skip to 15. It's a clip show that summarized the events up to that point, and then it's all awesomesauce from there on out.
